Some days you just feel like there might be hope after all.

The Senate says no to further media deregulation. Now if we can just get the house to follow suit... it still wouldn't be a big step towards diversity of viewpoint in the media. Sigh. But it's better than nothing, and it's better than allowing monopolies of ideas to consolidate further.
