The Winter Holiday Lovefest Post

It has been suggested in several quarters that the best way to handle the encroaching season of gift-giving and generalized avarice (since everybody seems to be broke this year) is to trade favors, services, and homemade stuff. I support this (since I, too, am broke), so in order to facilitate this exchange, I am making this post.

Here's how this goes:

If you want me to do something for you, post it in the comments here, email me, or communicate it to me in some other way. If you want to join the exchange, post this post, or something resembling it, in your little corner of the internet. I make no promises, but I will do my best to fulfill all reasonable requests.

I think this is a great idea, since most of the folks I know are not exactly flush with cash for presents this year, and it makes a lot of sense.

Consider this: Pick a photo of yourself that you like, and either post it here or e-mail it to gamera_spinning@livejournal.com. I'll do my best to sketch it and if the sketch is of any quality, I'll send it to you to do with as you wish.

I always like the chance to improve my artistic skills.

My dear rougewench can vouch that I'm not a creep, but if it sounds creepy in any way, don't think twice about it.
