COME ONE, COME ALL to the First Annual Hedonism Flaunt!

WHAT:
- A vibrant, juicy processional in the name of good fun (clean and dirty);
- A celebration of the spirit of Beltane, the May festival of sex and sensuality, fun and freedom, eating, dancing and other earthly delights;
- A glorified walk to the pub;
- A chance to strike fear, joy, amusement, or any combination of the above into the hearts of conspicuous consumers roaming the Plaza in search of lattes and trendy housewares.


WHEN: Sunday, May 4. 6:30 p.m. until whenever.


WHERE: We’ll gather in front of the Winstead’s on 47th Street near the Plaza. We will then grandly and ostentatiously parade down through the plaza, stopping to pay homage at some of the many shrines along the way, down and around to O’Dowd’s Little Dublin, 4742 Pennsylvania.


FEEL FREE TO:
- Dress fabulously and/or outrageously
- Bring signs, ribbons, flags, or other festive display stuff
- Sing and dance
- Bring drums or other musical instruments
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Wave, talk to people, and be friendly
- Hand out chocolates or other fun stuff to passers-by
- Take pictures
- Smile! This is all about having a good time!
- Invite your friends
- Make a donation to Children’s Mercy Hospital at the statue of the Boar as we pass – the statue is a change collection point for those worthy folks.

BUT PLEASE DON’T:
- Block the sidewalk so people can’t get around us
- Block traffic
- Bring dogs into the pub
- Do anything that would get you arrested
