New Project

Project idea of the day: Drive-by Theatre. You get five or six people in a van, they drive somewhere more or less at random, park, pile out of the van, do a short performance of some variety, then pile back into the van, drive somewhere else, and do it again. Unannounced, unsanctioned, guided to performance spots by pendulum, ouija board, or the flip of a coin, performing for the gods as much as for any passers-by that may or may not be there.

Hrm. It could be fun. Memo to self: see who shows up at the parade that I can talk into playing this game. Get enough people and we could have several troupes in motion at a time.

This is reminiscient of "guerilla" theater projects that have been done off and on since the 60's. Always an interesting idea. One has to remember to keep it somewhat short, unless you want to deal with permitting issues.
