Good year for series sci-fi

Just looking over my to-read list. The new George R.R. Martin, A Feast for Crows will be out soon, as will the last of the Legends of Dune series, The Battle of Corrin. Mmmmm. Crunch crunch. If I can get hold of those two, I think I can hold out for the big one, The Dark Tower, at the end of September.

Of course, after Roland gets to the Tower, I don't know what I'm going to do with my life. But that's a bridge to cross when I get there.

So, where are you getting your Feast of Crows release data from? A variety of places keep claiming that it's coming out but George R.R. Martin's site says there still isn't a release date. I'm looking forward to it to but I won't believe it until I hear that it's at the printers and I still won't be sure until I have a copy.

Huh. Didn't realize. I was getting data from Amazon and Borders, both of which said third week in August. Since they supported each other, I figured that was true.

I'll be disappointed if it isn't. But not too disappointed, since I had gotten it in my head that The Dark Tower wasn't going to be out until December. I'll trade one release later than I expect for another that's earlier.

Oh, that's very sad.

But why is he talking about writing chapters about Tyrion? Didn't he kill Tyrion in the last one? It's been too long :(

But you haven't written anything scandalous at all... if you were to post something exciting and detailed from Council chambers, I have no doubt that it would make my day better :)
