Battle of Westport

Went out to the Battle of Westport today.
Got: many pictures, fine pair of boots, equally fine riverboat gambler sort of hat, chased off the battlefield by Federal cavalry.
Miraculously did not get: ticks, sunstroke.
If you're in the Kansas City area and have nothing to do tomorrow, you should go out there and have a look at it. The Confederates won today, the Union wins tomorrow.
