I just ruined a pan of perfectly good chocolate by adding butter to it instead of shortening. D'oh.

Take my pans from me. I have forgotten the faces of my fathers: Willy Wonka, Russel Stover, mysterious Mr. Whitman. I'd cover my shame in caramel, but the brown sugar's gone off, and I can't find the rum.

Oh, dear. We have plenty of shortening, brown sugar and rum...even though we all know my husband didn't marry me for my cooking. You're welcome to come fetch whatever you need.
