This is how you know when you're dreaming

featherynscaleHad a bit of lucid dreaming experience last night - I don't normally get these unless there's something in the dream so patently bizarre that I realize I'm dreaming.
I was in another city. I think that it was Orlando. Gaia had decided to relocate to this city, because we had gotten a really good deal on a compound sort of thing, land and a lot of buildings. There was a sort of large meeting hall, a diner, a shower room and gym, and several other buildings involved. The whole feel is like a video game, as if there is a specific sequence of events that has to happen in order to advance, and I have done it many times, and I know what to do. kittenpants, triadruid and I live. kittenpants is home, and we decide to go up to the diner. Somewhere in here, we go trick-or-treating, but I don't remember how that happens. We go to the diner, and are sitting over our trays, talking about fundraising. There is another person at our table, who is in the discussion with us. It might be druidevo. They get up to throw away their tray, and in the five seconds that they are gone, a black woman in a red shirt who we do not know sits down with her tray in their seat. We look at her, but she ignores us. We get up to move to another table. She says we're racists. We are confused - we just got up to move to the neighboring table with the person whose seat she has taken.
Later, we are in the shower room, changing for something. The finance discussion continues. I accidentally open the shower door on an older woman with very grey hair and very pink skin.kittenpants tries to apologize to her, to cover for me, but she is shrieking and having none of it. We have to leave here, too. We go back home, and triadruid has just gotten home. Suddenly, there is a mouse. It streaks across the room, and is pursued hotly by Psyche. She pounces on the mouse and we stare. She licks it twice, then bites off its head. It is at this moment that I realize that this is a dream.
