I agree. I'm getting better at it though. Or at least, I'm getting better at expecting nothing in particular. The whole laws-of-motion thing frequently prevents me from expecting that nothing at all will happen.
I suppose this is what happens when one starts planning things and behaving in a goal-oriented manner. Back to the original model, girls, this one's not working.
