I have had a lot of trouble with my left knee for the last three years. Usually, it takes the form of pain going up and down stairs and stiffness. Today, it is not hurting or stiff, but is emitting a sound every time I take a step that sounds disturbingly like whirrrr....click.

I do not think that this could possibly be a good sign.

I have had problems with my knees off and on for many years (a function I think of having grown too quickly as a child). I have been going to a chiropractor recently and have found that he can do wonders for my knees. I still get some trouble with them, but not nearly to the extent that I once did. You could try that.

I'd love to be able to go to the chiropractor. Unfortunately, I'm in a no-insurance mode at the moment. Hopefully, that will get straightened out soon, though, and that will be the first thing on the list. I never thought about that sort of treatment for knees, really. Thanks!

It's not as expensive as you might think. My chiropractor is $36 per visit (I go once a week). FOod for thought.
