1. What does your first name mean? Kimberly - (English) From the royal fortress meadow.
2. What does your middle name mean? Nicole - (Greek) Victory of the people
3. What does your last name mean? Gier - (German) variously translated as greed, lust, or obsession
4. So what does your name mean when put together? The peasants are at the castle gate with torches and pitchforks! ;)
5. What would you have been named if you were the opposite gender? My parents didn't pick a name until they were pretty sure I was going to be a girl, but if my dad had won out on the name thing, I'd be named Priscilla. *shudder*
6. Any other cool things about your name? I can abbreviate it KN, which I variously pronounce cayenne, like the pepper, or caine, like the murderer. I like either form better than my actual name - it's sort of gender-neutral.
7. Do you like your name? It beats Priscilla.
8. What do you like best about it? My middle name isn't unwieldy and embarrassing- it's not the great-great-aunt's name everybody wants to give to their child.
9. What do you like least about it? That nobody pronounces the last name right on the first try, and sometimes not on the last, either.
10. If you HAD to change your name (witness protection program, whatever), what would you want it to be? I might find it amusing to be called Ana Michaels.
