List of American Mead Association commercial mead producers in the U.S. Proof the gods have a rough sense of humor: despite my affinity for honey and honey products, I am a mean honey drunk. I have special treaties with rum, can hold my whisky with no more ill effect than a tendency to make pronouncements and challenge people to contests, and tequila does not make my clothes fall off. But mead or Barenjager, my favorites, make me depressed, surly and/or vindictive. Nonetheless, a treat to be savored, just in smaller quantities.

digibri, an online editable guide to monsters of all stripe. Since apparently, my totem animal is Monster, I'm there.
Kansas City Food Circle is an organization that hooks up local farmers with local food buyers. They're having a big expo event on 3/24 that I'm hoping to be able to sneak out to for a bit in between my other responsibilities of the day. Part of the eating better initiative.
