Today at work, I'm supposed to answer 4 questions about things the company did last year. Of course, I've only been here since last week. And, to make it more interesting, I don't have access to any of the files from anything we're not actively working on. And yep, you guessed it, all the files I can see start January 1, 2004.

I'm really good at refining data from information, but even I have to have access to the information first.

Use your internet connection to search about your company and see what public face they have presented?
Then if someone asks why the information you are presenting is second-hand, you can point out that you weren't given access to the appropriate files...
