Happy Birthday Hermes! (belated)

Had a fine time at Hermes' birthday party last night -- I'm starting to get an appreciation for this eating goat thing. Goat was burnt, libations were poured, songs were sung, and piety was generally observed until way late in the evening. Rum was also observed until way late in the evening.

I'm infinitely more cheerful than I have any right to be this morning, considering the amount of rum which was observed, and the lateness of the evening.

Anyway, I'm voting for more deity parties with praise offerings. If nothing else, we give them something to laugh at.
