Speaking of stranger...
Dec. 13th, 2005 09:03 amAlso, an amazing discovery was made.
The gimpy EHQ television set, which has been disconnected from the outside world for like a year now, seems to pick up the BBC America channel. This is pretty unlikely to begin with, as we have no antenna, even, to grab broadcast channels. But it becomes even more unlikely when you consider that BBC America is a cable channel. Furthermore, we didn't even get BBC America when we had cable!
My hypothesis is that the Hob is somehow responsible for this, and perhaps enjoys the Beeb when we are not at home. It seems as likely as anything.
