Villainy on the exceedingly low seas

Day 37. Crew getting restless. We've not sighted another ship in weeks. We're used to danger, but tedium is another matter. Something must be done, and soon.

Day 39. Spotted what we thought was another vessel on the horizon. Were wrong. kittenpants and the rest of crew playing dice for biscuits belowdecks.

Day 42. Made port on small, uncharted island. The damned thing is covered in monkeys. They attacked us as we left the beach for the jungle beyond. triadruid shot several of them, but one made off with our dog. Goddamned monkeys.

Day 43. We seem to have run off the bulk of the monkeys. Discovered suspicious-looking ruins inland. No doubloons, nor precious jewels, but we discovered a golden idol in the shape of a dingo and took it for our own.....

Ah, the plan is working. While the unsuspecting pirates sleep, millions of tiny ninjas will emerge from their hiding place inside the golden idol, and overrun their hideaway.
