OK. It's not funny anymore.

I was looking forward to this not having a job thing. Thinking, "Oh, great, I'll have time to do all the things I want to do and never have time to, etc." Ha. Since I'm at home all the damned time now, the list of things I want to do, or have the necessary inspiration to do has gotten really really short, and none of the things on it are even at all productive.

I did manage to re-start my daily ritual practice, which is good. It's kind of like going back to the gym after a long time away - by the time I'm done with the sequence, which is short, I'm exhausted. Really, that's been it though.

I'm going to try to do something at least vaguely useful tomorrow. I don't know what it's going to be, but I'm really not going to sit around and read and play Diablo. I swear to the gods, I'm not.

I'm right there with you in the out of shape practice.....And now that I don't have much work going on I am as well trying to find things to keep busy... I'll venture to the library somtimes,, maybe read about a new subject,, but still,, *yawn* I'm thinking of perhaps going on some nature walks over at Shawnee Mission Park... or perhaps the gym...anything productive that keeps me out of the apartment would be welcome; If you wish to conspire something later that would be at a low cost, let me know.

The Athletic Club of Overland Park which is only a couple blocks from my apartment. I found a free 2-week trial offer in the phone book, so you most likely could locate one as well. The Club is on Marty Rd.. Other coupons are: Free Fitness Assessment, 1/2 initiation Fee OR if you join b'fore the end of the free pass recieve 0 enrollment... I havn't gone to it yet, but will probably start tomorrow: I hope to get buff and cut for the HPF, lol..especially if I'm gonna be running around half nude. Today I'm staying free hoping to recieve a phone call from Argosy.

True. However, if I wanted to go over there in the daytime, that would mean I'd have to go by myself, which, if history is any indication, I probably won't do very often.

(Not that I'm knocking the concept of Drummel in tight shorts, but it's really the motivation that I'm after.)

heh, To Ease your Fear, There Will be NO wearing of Tight shorts by myself... I've been wearing boxers since 12 and doubt I'll return to anything more constraining then that.. I'll probabbly wear something similar to what I wore for Highschool gym, which where loose fishnetty layered poly shorts..that is when I have money to buy gym clothes.. Till then I'll just sweat it out in whatever.

Never been there myself, but highly recommended by several of my friends is Curves for Women. You might find it interesting, or you might run away screaming, I'm not sure. Possibly worth at least a look, though.
