saffronhare, she looked at me oddly, and said something like, "You look good today...you look...happy." So I'm guessing that I don't look happy all that often. Which is a shame, since I'm happy enough lately that it disturbs me.
Dealing with the blood-relatives early in the month seems to be a good plan, in that it allows me to spend the actual holidays with the chosen family, which rules. We did the whole gift opening thing yesterday at EHQ and at Gaia - I got all sorts of really fun things :)triadruid gave me a black silk robe, that I might lounge about EHQ more artfully. kcwitch and diermuid gave me a lovely black leather ring belt for my faire garb that diermuid made, and decorated with chaostars and skulls-and-crossbones. And, zylch (somewhat unwisely) gave me a toy Chainsaw of Natural Selection, which I (even more unwisely) brought in to the office today. Let the VPs fear the sound of the CoNS! Let them flee from my battery-operated fury!
