Last night I dreamed I was a superhero, part of a team of superheros. There were three of us, me, [livejournal.com profile] hotokegi(Sorry, man), and some other guy that I couldn't identify. We were at an abandoned amusement park, and as it turned out, we needed to generate a big electric field for some reason. And we decided that since one of us had the ability to generate electricity, all we needed was a big conductor of some sort. And we looked around and looked around, and they didn't find anything. I pointed to a big steel roller-coaster - "Will that work?" "No, it's broken," says the third guy, "There aren't any cars, and all the crossbars on the tracks are gone." I look at him like he's a moron - "But the *rails* are still there! Tons of metal, hello!" And it's a big argument. And this guy is just not having it - the coaster is broken, and it's not going to help. [livejournal.com profile] hotokegi just sort of looks on, in a sort of 'what the hell? why are we even having this discussion?' kind of way. I try to get him to help me, but he won't.
Finally, I'm like, well, screw it. I bend the rails down where they touch the water of a pond that was underneath the coaster. [livejournal.com profile] hotokegi electrifies them, and there's a big comic-booky woo-woo-sizzle-pop electric field thing that happens. The day is presumably saved, even though I was never really clear on what it needed to be saved from, or how making big shock would help.
Then I wake up going "Er? What the hell was all that?"

I had a profound moral to attach to the end of this, but on further consideration, it's really stupid.
