I have always protested openly, for some reason the prostest is even more fulfilling if you are open about it and your target just doesn't get it. ;-)
The point of kittens and sunflowers is that it is exactly a fascade. Einstein you might actually wear normally... so that would still be conforming. Besides, I'm sure Einstein is evil too, he was germanic, the nazis were germanic, the nazis were evil, thus he is an evil genius and not appropriate. Or something like that. ;-)
