skynock posts about not having anybody to take to the company party, and ten minutes after I read that, our office manager sends round an email that says we're not having a company party this year, the VPs are all going out to dinner and the rest of us are So that's good, I guess, as it means I don't have to worry about who I'm going to take to the company party. Not that I had given any thought to the company party since I ducked out of going to the one last year, but hey. If it had been a problem, it wouldn't be one anymore.
