Some blonde woman in a blue car driven by a brown-haired man came up onto our lawn tonight, screaming and cursing, and destroyed our Jolly Roger jack-o-lantern. Pirate hating bastards. The neighbor across the way threw her shoe at their car, and apparently dented it. We don't even know anybody matching this description, let alone anybody we've pissed off recently. So yeah, that was random.

Jeebus no - if it was you and you were that pissed off, you'd have just come to the door. That's the other part I don't get. If you're going to come into somebody's yard to destroy shit, why not go to the door and yell *at the person you're pissed off at*... totally new concept.

I don't know though - I mean, in the yard, there was fire and glass and all sorts of things that she could have trashed, had trashing our house been the object. However, she chose the pumpkin. I think it's just pirate-hate. We'd tell her to go off and become a bloody ninja then, except that you know, screaming and cursing and smashing pumpkins in somebody's front yard is so not ninjesque.

some people just get off on smashing pumpkins (and i don't mean the music group) there was a rash of pumpkin theft over that weekend and the funny (sad not ha!ha!) was that the reason why the cops took it so serious is that some of them was who feel victim to the theft. how sad is that? the world is a pretty fucked up place some times.

Cause now we've replaced it with the Ticer's pumpkins from Sunday; so instead of a Jolly Rodger, there's a pentacle pumpkin, and a UU chalice pumpkin. Looks very funny..
