Well, in regards to what I was going to say about faire seems to have been covered well by [livejournal.com profile] kcwitch. So, I'll just comment that I'm happy you made it to the witches meet up and I am sorry I was unable to make it this time. I understand your hesitancy as I had the same hesitancy. However, David and Carey were going to be there so I figured there would be at least two sane people. Well, sane in my eyes. :-)
