that's what this vacation was all about. we did not watch or listen to a single thing about the war. there was no news on at all. i was a bit annoyed when micheal moore did his lil bit at the academy awards...he has the right to feel any way he wanted to, but the awards was not a place to view them. it wasn't just a vacation from my house but from life period. it was such a cleansing thing for me to do. although i am sad to have missed such an awesome ritual, i think going to hot springs was a good thing for us to do.
