Best DragonCon Ever

Got home early this morning from what was clearly the Best DragonCon Ever. Mostly slept all day, having spent last night in the car.

Sadly, my camera decided to die, so I don't have as many pictures as usual (what I do have are on my Flickr account)., and many of the ones that I do have are not very good. I'm certainly going to need a new camera soon: any suggestions from you lot who are better with the picture-clicky than my humble self?

Short Con Report:
- celtic_elk was correct: I was recognized as "the Mage girl" within the first 15 minutes of leaving my hotel room in that outfit. On the other hand, I was only recognized as such by two people total, and I think they were both in the Atlanta Camarilla. One of them did say that the poster was better than anything White Wolf put out this year, so props to arkhamrefugee there.
- I think I actually went to more stuff this year than in any previous year. I was in the Parade, went to lots of panels, got to see Abney Park, Hellblinki Sextet, and Mindless Self Indulgence, went to the Mad Scientist party (complete with singing Tesla coils and a mobile bartending robot), and so on and so forth.
- triadruid ran into a long-lost cousin, who was staying on the same floor of the Marriott as us.
- Atlanta > GoogleMaps.
- jackbabalon23 is a real person, not just a figment of my internet-empowered imagination. Got to meet him and his lovely girlfriend V. at the veryvery end of Con. They are, in fact, lovely people.
- Green Arrow is a friend to children and Black Canaries everywhere.
- ... um, lots more stuff. I'll think of it later, perhaps, when my brain is not so fried.

And what a picture it was, my photographer friend saw it and said "Why can't I get people like her to agree for photoshoots" *grin* I ended up being trapped in the room of the Dr. Horrible showing and watching the Buffy Horror PIcture Show, then I completely spaced on where the BPAL was. I'll be up that way someday before the end of the year maybe then. :D

Heh. As it turned out, triadruid had not sorted out that when I told him that I was going upstairs to meet you guys, that I meant I was doing so right then. He thought I was going to the dealer's room, and he should wait for me before going anywhere. So that was weird. But there you are.

Also, yes, I wholeheartedly support Mad Scientist parties, and think you should go. I suspect you ought to be careful of what you drink there, though.
