discworld seem to have devoted the entire day today to reminding me why I don't usually participate in specific fandoms. :(
FURTHER EDIT: Life's Little Victories: The three-leaved philodendron I inherited from my predecessor has 12 leaves today, through the miraculous powers of sunlight and regular watering. Also, I have only 4 more jobs to fill before the monstrous vacancy list I was handed gets down to one page. Apparently, in the previous administration, 6 months went by without an applicant. In the last two weeks, we've hired five people, and I'm going to hire another guy on Tuesday, provided he shows up. That doesn't suck.
