agrnmn, on the question-asking meme.
1. Travel -- Your on a round the world expedition...What is your prefered mode of travel?
Assuming that I have all the time in the world, I'd prefer mostly ground transportation, by car or by other local transport options (for example, where there are steam trains, I would want to ride them. Where there is fast rail, I'd want to take that, etc.). You get to take all the interesting side trips like that. To get over the oceans, I'd want to do a boat trip at least once (although I think that might get dull if you did it all the time).
2. Religion -- What relgion just ellicit nothing but "WTF?" from you and what one thing would you change about it to make it more palatable?
There are a lot of religions that get the WTF from me -- most, and possibly all. I think I get the biggest WTFs from Buddhism and Protestantism, though, since one seems to ask its devotees not to want anything, and the other asks its devotees to feel guilty and wretched because they want things. So I'd want to leave out the part where you have to stop being a human being with drives in order to be a follower. That just seems silly.
3. Family -- What member of your blood family would you like to be unrelated to and what friend would you like to make a family member and what would their relationship (cousin, sibling) then be?
I don't think there are any of my blood family that I'd like to be unrelated to. I mean, they're all nice people, even though I don't belong with them. Really, I'd prefer to trade myself out to another fmaily, and let them have somebody like them. For part two, I also don't have a good answer. If I like someone enough that I think I would want to be related to them, then I probably want to flirt with them, and if they actually were a blood relative, then I couldn't do that anymore. It would be weird.
4. Love -- What is your favorite love song?
Somebody by Depeche Mode is probably right up there. He's describing an ideal love rather than an actual love, sort of throwing out the wishlist, as it were, but still, a lot of it strikes me.
5. Sex -- What thing on the bevy of purity test out there have you not done but have on a list to do?
Ummm.... I think I'm pretty much down to poop and animals on those tests, and there's a reason why I haven't checked those things off. Maybe sex on ecstasy. I think that's on some of them.
6. Hobbies -- What is the silliest hobby you have ever heard of?
Collecting things.
7. Pets -- If Fractal could shape change what would he change into?
I'm not sure he doesn't already. He certainly at least changes size and color.
8. Friendship -- What is the stupidest thing you have ever had a falling out with a friend over?
When I was in high school, my "best friend" went about telling everybody she dumped her boyfriend because he a) raped her and b) was sleeping with me on the side. Neither of those things were true, but it was more than enough to make me not want to hang out with her anymore. The whole thing was very, very stupid.
9. Literature -- What book have you read and reread the most?
If I have to count since childhood, probably Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. As an adult, probably Illuminatus!.
10. Movies -- When and where for X3?
I'm thinking Monday, so thattriadruid can go with us. No strong preference on theaters. When/where would be best for you (since we don't have to arrange sitters or anything)
11. Home town -- If you could relive your childhood but only change the location where would you grow up?
If the location was different, my childhood would have been different, but I'll pick Arcata, California. I think they're very cool in Arcata.
12. Physical Appearance -- What's your favorite physical feature? (And nothing about what you don't like)
I've got good eyes, I think.
13. Volunteer Work -- What volunteer job should everyone be mandated to do some time during there life?
If it was mandated, it wouldn't be volunteer work :-P. Maybe everybody should have to do something like Habitat, where you build something useful over some period of time and get to know people while you're working together.
14. Life Goals -- What life goal, if any, have you already accomplished?
I'm not sure I have any life goals at all, finished or unfinished.
15. The World -- What is your favorite end of the world scenario (disease, alien invasion, war)?
I think meteor strike is pretty good. I'm not sure it would necessarily be the end of the world, but the end of civilization, for sure. So that's fun.

Date: 2006-05-25 04:13 pm (UTC)The thing about X and sex is that the skin becomes about as sensitive and charged as the normal primary erogenous zones. So, actually getting around to sex can be problematic. It sure can be fun trying to get there though.
*Hi* *bounce* I've not been commenting much lately, even if I've been reading as much as possible. I'm trying to change that. It helps that I've been working from home some lately so I can get on LJ. LJ being blocked at work really puts a damper on things.
