Through sheer laziness and lack of giving a damn, my hair is currently in one of those fantastically awkward in-between stages. From here, I could reasonably see letting it grow out (it is already pretty awful, so the transition to Even More Awful is not that daunting). Or, I could have it cut back to a reasonable short hair length.

So, Great IntarWeb, I perform ritual abasements at your feet. I sing the Seven Songs of Respectful Request. Advise me. What should I do?

I think it depends on which Beatle. If your hair is making you look like John, that's okay, but if it's making you look more like Ringo, not so good.

Maybe I'm more like an alternate-universe Beatle. In this universe, Ringo was a chick. A fat readheaded chick with big tits. He was still a little weird, though.

Nah. In order for triadruid's chances of getting laid (by me, I can't speak for other people) to decrease significantly, he'd have to do something like:
- Fail to bathe for more than three days at a time. (x-50%)
- Spit. (x-50%)
- Take a crap on the rug. (x-80%)
- Become a rabid pro-lifer. (x-90%, but the penalty decreases over time)
- Shave his head. (x-20%)
Snarky LJ comments may actually increase his chances, as there is a demonstrated strong correlation in our house between clever and fun behavior and getting any.

Darling featherynscale, you have looked sexier with each successive, shorter haircut. However, I think you ought to stop before you reach the shaved-head stage. For one thing, you've mentioned thinking your head size/shape is weird. It does have some value as a thought experiment, but the growing-out part is a bitch if you don't really love it (I speak from some experience.
