Another overbooked weekend, leading into another overbooked week.

Saturday: Church board meeting, during which I got to pretend that I was the Secretary and the Treasurer, never mind that I'm not a member of the Board. [livejournal.com profile] orcjohn, I believe that the minutes show that you were not there because you were out getting laid. So hah. Follow this up with a planning meeting for the Summer Solstice ritual which is going to take place on a Saturday despite the fact that the sponsoring organization continues to insist that we should hold the thing on a Thursday. Follow that up with some cleaning/reorganization of our office at the church, which the astute reader may take to mean "we took everything out of it, pitched half of it, and then tried to cram the rest of it back into the office in an organized manner". Follow *that* with auditions for Measure For Measure. Then, lovely Chinese take-out with [livejournal.com profile] saffronhare and [livejournal.com profile] agrnmn. *whew*

Sunday: Shopping for God Auction donor gifts. Have a theme for the large basket and acquired a few items towards that. Have some thoughts about the gift from Bast. After that, ritual at Gaia about gender and sexuality, which was mostly not muddled and only majorly offensive in one bit. Fun, anyway.

This week, upcoming:
Monday - Read Measure for Measure. Type solstice ritual outline.
Tuesday - Conference call with CUUPS board re: solstice ritual, not on Thursday. Clean house.
Wednesday - Clean house for the weekend.
Thursday - God Auction meeting.
Friday - Keter comes in for the weekend.
Saturday - Constellation workshop.
Sunday - Keter goes home, maybe go to ritual, maybe solstice ritual practice.

Also, funnily enough, further investigation of the sex toy that [livejournal.com profile] ysabel was so heartily recommending reveals that the company who makes them is located in my old home town, Lakeland, Florida. This is funny because Lakeland is the most backwater, conservative, run-by-the-Assembly-of-God-church kind of town. It's the sort of place where, when a big-box bookstore (non-Christian) went up, the locals shook their heads and went, "That won't last long" and "I hope they have a big picture book section". So I envision that the demand for strapless strap-ons is pretty low in the local area. But I hope that's not true. I hope there is an entire underground lesbian culture in Lakeland and that they buy these things up as fast as they can make them. It just seems unlikely.

Today's fortune cookie fortune:
You are cheerful and well-liked.

I am, as [livejournal.com profile] fionnabhar might say, "ded from teh funny".
