British cops busted for selling nudie pics from surveillance cameras.

Granted, obviously none of these folks were too concerned about people seeing them naked, but that's not the point, is it?

By now, you may have seen, or met, or heard about The Puppy. The Puppy showed up on Friday night, as people were coming in and out of the front door to EHQ, where there was a bit of a party on.
"Is that your dog?", we asked.
"No, we thought it was your dog.", they replied.

And so.

The Puppy is not a small, ignorable puppy. It is a large, heavy-footed, over-enthusiastic and conversational puppy. It wants to be Where The People Are. It barks all the time. Fractal, the Dog In Residence at EHQ, is not impressed.

The Puppy came without collar or tags, but nonetheless seems to have been Somebody's puppy, as opposed to a random feral puppy. So we did the responsible thing. We put up signs all around the neighborhood. We listed him on shelter and lost pet websites. I went up to the local grocery to put up a sign there. The manager said to me, "Didn't you come up here not too long ago with a found dog sign?". Yep. That would be me. That would be our house, where Stray Dogs Feel Welcome. [livejournal.com profile] triadruid even took him for walks around the neighborhood, hoping that someone would know where he belonged. One guy reportedly told him, "I think he belongs to those people in that house with the columns on 118th Street." And very helpful that would be, except that's our house.

Anyway. So far, nothing. One guy emailed me with a picture of his lost dog, asking if I thought that was the dog we had. I don't, but I asked him to come by anyway. I think I mentioned, the dog is conversational.
