Had a lovely time last night at the Wild Hare meeting, during which I got to recount the Dinosaur Story for [livejournal.com profile] nodeal57 and Stacy, as well as some of the kidfolk, who probably didn't need to hear all that, but hey. They're pagan kids. They'll hear it eventually.

There was some acclaim for the idea of writing a movie script, or a video game. It was also generally stated that it was a good thing that I could never draw comic strips, or that this would be all I'd ever do. We wondered whether we could get Alan Cumming to be in the film. I had a moment of brain function loss during which I thought he was Canadian, and therefore unlikely to go for it. He is, in fact, Scottish, which I think means we have a chance. ** [livejournal.com profile] nodeal57 graciously agreed to take the role if we couldn't get Cumming, though, so I think we could still make the film, regardless. When he said this, [livejournal.com profile] fionnabhar made the sort of face which implies that she was holding back some really juicy comment. So perhaps there is some odd role-play activities going down at the Burrow about which we are uninformed (Other than the Molly and Arthur Weasley thing, of which we are aware *G*).

[livejournal.com profile] zylch threw support in behind the plan, citing the need to renew the earth's supply of petroleum. More dinosaurs = more oil, right? Not only would we end discrimination based on sexual preference, but also do our part to save the earth. Or... um.... something.
