It's like a sociopolitical wet dream
May. 6th, 2005 04:24 pmMicrosoft says it will boost its support for gay rights legislation.
So, I'm thinking that either a) this means more money going into socially progressive legislation, which should help push the whole civil rights thing along, or b) this will cause anti-gay nutjobs all over the world to boycott Microsoft, diminishing their market share and allowing for more robust competition, or c) both. What a great day it is in the world when such things happen!
(Sorry. It's Friday, I'm punchy. You're not getting advanced mathematics and existentialism out of me today, although I am reading Cryptonomicon, and so far I think that it is everything a novel should be. There will probably be more on that later.)
