Further party notes
Aug. 13th, 2004 08:53 amJust wanted to drop a line to invite you all to the next flaunt/my
birthday party!
The theme of the flaunt is Boys in Eyeliner (because it's my
birthday, see?) (and Girls are also, of course, invited to come in
Eyeliner).
When: August 20th, 8:00 p.m.
Where: McCoy's in Westport, followed by random locations within
walking distance of said McCoy's.
What: Flaunt! A costumed dinner and debauchery followed by
processional/pub crawl. We'll eat, drink, be merry and raucous and
generally have a good time.
Who: You!
Why: Why not?
What to Wear: Whatever you like, so long as it's fabulous and
involves eyeliner. Goth kids, drag queens, pirates, silent film
stars, egyptians, and anybody else who goes overboard on the kohl
will be welcome. You determine your own level of involvement, but
historically Flaunters have dressed to impress or distress, but never
be repressed. If you would like to dress up but haven't the means,
let me know, and I'll see if we can find something for you in the EHQ
Costume Department.
Other notes: If you're going to flaunt with us, please let me know,
so that I can reserve you a seat at dinner. Also, Flaunts have
historically involved giving small gifts (flowers, chocolate, kisses,
paper hats, etc.) to random friendly people on the street. If you
want to bring some sort of street favor, please feel free to do so.
