Poem of the Day

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

I bought a book of her poetry and short stories after seeing the movie "Mrs. Parker and the Viscious Circle".
Wonderful. Sad movie, but her writing is crisp.
