New toy, birthday party, &c.

The button maker pleases me greatly. It is a sort of bench-press model: totally easy to operate, and turns out buttons that look well-made, as opposed to the hand-held sort that make buttons with loose, rotatable plastic covers. Now, all I have to do is trawl back through my files and find all the things I wanted to put on buttons. And yes, niveus_tigris, I will make you some monkey buttons.

My first button went to chaosdruid last night, at her birthday party, which was more fun than reasonable or wise. Especially worthy of note was orcjohn, who was in raging fine form all evening. orcjohn is a fine individual, and I'm keeping an eye out for blondes, brunettes, and redheads for him at all times.

I will report, however, that tequila is a poor combination with buffalo wings, and that tequila in the lung is no reliable way to clear congestion.
