[First job]: Supermarket cashier, when I was in high school.
[First screen name]: Kaen, which is my initials run together to make a word.
[First funeral]: First that I remember was my Uncle Otto, who died when I was about 7 or 8. And I don't remember much of it. There are things that I tend to block out, and family ceremonies are almost always on the do-not-remember list. I've been to a lot of weddings, funerals, et al, but I couldn't tell you much about them. I don't know why this is.
[First pet]: First pet that my family had was an elderly, sedate tabby cat called Frisky, who really only moved if you moved her, or if you offered her popcorn. First pet that was "mine" was either an exceptionally fat and long-lived white bunny called "Happy" (who was an Easter present - my cousin received a less fat and short-lived brown bunny called "Easter") or a large red dog of indeterminable breed called "Rufus" - we got both of those when I was about 6, and the dog was larger than I was, and regularly knocked me over. He also regularly ripped large segments of screen off of the back porch and ate them, but that's another story.
[First piercing]: Ears, age 10 or 11. They've also got the distinction of being the only piercing I still have.
[First tattoo]: A tribal sort of winged disc design in blackwork, on the back of my neck, age 20.
[First credit card]: Visa issued from my credit union as a "starter card", age 18. Paid for first tattoo, above.
[First kiss]: Er. I seem to remember kissing a boy called Jake in kindergarten, but I think that following that, my first kiss was with a boy called Jeff, who was in my theatre class in my sophomore or junior year of high school. I really couldn't have bought a kiss in any of the years in between.
[First enemy]: I'm sure I must have disliked people before high school, but I think that my first real enemy, as in, person who had deliberately decided to do me harm, was a girl called Misty who had somehow managed to convince herself that I was sleeping with her boyfriend, and went about announcing this to anyone who would listen, and who subsequently sabotaged me getting into the Thespian Society. I did sleep with her boyfriend, but only much later, after he had not been her boyfriend for several years.
[First favorite musician]: Tom Petty. I still like him, too.
Lasts:
[Last car ride]: To and from dinner at El Mogwai last night.
[Last kiss]: Er. I don't remember. Odds are quite good that it was
[Last movie watched]: Peter Pan, which I enjoyed significantly more than I probably ought to, at my age. I particularly enjoyed watching the pirates chant "I do believe in faeries"...
[Last beverage drank]: A BlueSky Ginseng Cola
[Last food consumed]: A peanut butter granola bar of some ilk.
[Last phone call]: To
[Last time showered]: This morning.
[Last CD played]: Last CD I personally popped in the player was Musica Yoruba sometime last week.
[Last website visited]: www.copyright.gov -- don't ask.
[Lesson learned]: That newspaper headlines probably come under fair use, if you acknowledge the source, but that since there's no legislation or jurisprudence that deals directly with this, the paper could still sue you about it anyway.
Now:
[Single or Taken]: Exceedingly taken.
[Birthday]: 8/20
[Sign]: Leo. (rawr.)
[Siblings]: 2 half sisters who un/fortunately happen to look like the Olsen twins.
[Hair color]: Shiny dark red.
[Eye color]: Green.
[Shoe size]: 8
[Height]: 5'4"
[Mood]: Annoyed.
Right now what are you:
[Supposed to be doing instead of this]: Building the same damned report for the fourth time that I've already been yelled at twice today for things that were the exact opposite of each other.
[Wearing]: White top, black Buster Keaton pants, Black mary-janes.
[Drinking]: Ginseng cola, aforementioned
[Thinking about]: Quitting my job.
[Listening to]: The boss yelling at the next person in the queue.
[About to do]: Eat, hopefully.
