Flaunt!

Santa Flaunt went somewhat better than expected - 16 Santas, a monkey and a Not-so-Virgin Mary showed up to participate in the festivities. Note to self for future flauntage: Go somewhere other than Westport. The bar density there is good, but the number of bars willing to let 15-20 drunken costumed freaks in with no cover, not so good. Monkeys were stolen, bells were jingled, and a good time was generally had by all, in spite of the fact that, like in all good Christmas stories, there was generally no room at the inn.

The flaunt itself was followed, apparently, by a middle-school-grade slumber party in the Den of Iniquity, highlighted by Brian tormenting zylch with the time-honored "I'm not touching you" game known to big brothers everywhere, and getting decked for his efforts. All this, however, is hearsay, as I'd dragged my sorry inebriated ass to bed before it happened.

Heroes all, in any case. There are several leftover santa bits at EHQ, notably a couple of red-and-black hats, so if the santas wish to reclaim them, they should come by and get them.

Middle school would be putting it generously. I'd say more like third grade (only we didn't put anyone's panties in the icebox).

And a minor correction -- Brian got decked for actually touching me. After that he started doing the "I'm not touching you" bit, to which I had already developed an immunity when I was three or four years old. Poor Jai, however, got decked just for trying to be nice (can't remember if you were still up for that).

I must have somehow missed the bottle episode. I did catch the beating of Jai, though, as well as the beating of triadruid at McCoy's - zylch had violence enough to go around, apparently :-P

nope...you saw me put the empty bottle in her hand. she was laying just perfect with a hand up, looking like she was passed out. too bad we didn't get the camera quick enough cuz it made for a perfect photo op. of course i could have not said anything cuz up until now i don't think she knew i did it. LOL!

I'm not sure I really want to ask this, but... what bottle episode? And what beating of triadruid at McCoys? (The latter sounds possible, I just can't remember why I would have)

When you were complaining that you couldn't feel your nose, he asked if you could feel your knees, and then proceeded to feel them for you, at which point, you whacked him one. It was very entertaining.

I think I have managed to avoid smacking saffronhare so far, actually. Which is good, since she just might actually hurt me if I tried.

If I couldn't feel my nose, I wasn't complaining. Complaining is when I'm drinking and I can feel my nose. But yeah, I remember that bit now.

Violent, perhaps, but at least I don't hit as hard as saffronhare does. From what I've heard, anyway.

ok see, you was sleeping looking all passed out with your hand above your head. i saw an empty beer bottle just inches from your hand so i walked over you to the bottle, sat down in the chair behind you and very gently placed the bottle in your hand so it would be a great photo op. but before we could get the camera ready you tossed the bottle out of your hand and looked around for the person who touched you. but i never touched you. sadly no photo.
