As it happens, Oscar Wilde is probably not my favorite. I mean, he's okay. I have dressed like him upon occasion, and he has the best of all possible Uncyclopedia articles. But I don't think I would consider him my historical crush. In fact, I'm having a hard time coming up with a historical crush. I mean, Tesla, okay, I'm pretty sweet on Nikola Tesla, but when it comes right down to it, I think we'd have profoundly mismatched kinks. Because I'm down with electricity play if and only if I'm the one with the generator. So I think that's out. But I'm at pains to think of anybody else.

So, you guys know me, right? Who should be my historical honey?

And, while you're thinking on those lines, who's yours?

I could see you on the arm of some eccentric leader. Maybe Churchill?

And, while you're thinking on those lines, who's yours?
All I know of her is probably fiction, but how about Reinette ?

Mme. Pompadour is very popular these days :)

Also, Churchill? Maybe. But he'd have had to give up smoking.

My vote for a historical hook up for you would be Sir Richard Francis Burton, Jack Parsons and/or Groucho Marx. Though I think it would take a lethal cocktail mix of the three I think to find the perfect Mr. Featherynscale!

[identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com 2007-01-25 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I like the way you think, sir! I did think of Parsons, but a person couldn't possibly expect Parsons to be their only man, I think. Better to envision some sort of extended possibilities.

Er. I got Oscar too.

Hrm. If I'd clicked that I liked girls, would a picture of you dressed as Oscar Wilde have shown up? I wonder.

Oscar Wilde
You scored 30% Submission, 68% Kinkyness, and 79% Rationality!

You've probably seen a picture of me dressed as Oscar Wilde, actually. Also, how does it shake out that you are more submissive than I am?

Re: Er. I got Oscar too.

[identity profile] saffronhare.livejournal.com 2007-01-25 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Precisely. That makes NO SENSE at all. At least now you know I didn't bother messing with the code.

[identity profile] lilia-blackbear.livejournal.com 2007-01-25 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I actually scored Winston Churchill... funny... today in my speech class, the instructor asked us to name great orators of the 20th century, and I said Churchill.

I am an awful matchmaker, so I really have no clue for you... my personal crush is Percy Bysshe Shelley. Our affair has lasted longer than any of his affairs lasted in real life, including his marriage to Mary Shelley, but you know, death usually does shorten a relationship.

Er. Um.

[identity profile] fionnabhar.livejournal.com 2007-01-26 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
I got John Maynard Keynes.

BWA HA HA!
That's um... excellent?

Tesla, sadly, had a phobia for women's hair - of any kind. Not insurmountable, but tricky.

I did not know that. I think it's cool though, because my alter-ego is bald. Or something.

Memetic Wisdom?

[identity profile] wildnsquirrelly.livejournal.com 2007-01-26 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
I took it and found several surprises.

1) According to it, you're kinkier than I am.

2) Also according to it (and here's what really convinced me that meme is confused) I'm more rational than you are.

3) With all that I'm up to these days I'm also supposed to find time to be shagging Queen Elizabeth the First.

God save the Queen!

I couldn't really work out what counted as rational for them. I mean, yes, there were some logic questions, and I'm pretty sure I got all of those, but I think also the question about shagging everybody to repopulate the human race probably figured in. I think the "rational" answer was "Yes, I'd do it for the human race", and I put "Hey, I'd do it for the shagging". (Only because my actual answer, "You know, if the human race depended on me squeezing out a kid, I'd have to wave bye-bye to the whole grand experiment", was not an option.)

Also, I *am* kinkier than you.

"Also, I *am* kinkier than you."

I beg to differ. I'm certain that I've done, enjoyed, and have had done, things that would turn your hair green (again). Not being the kiss(or whatever)and tell type I don't see us getting into exactly what said exploits entail, but I'm certain that if we were to play the ol' V.I. standby, Ten Fingers, that it would at least be a close call.

For 72% submission (will not rant. WILL NOT RANT.), 43% kinkiness, and 88% rationality, it gave me...Confusious. Sic. *sigh*

[identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com 2007-01-26 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Because, when I think Confucius, I think, yeah, 43% kinky. Oh, wait, no. *facepalm*
