triadruid and I had to get up too early this morning. It is the only possible explanation. We're in the car, driving to the office. It's his car, so he gets radio control. He pops in a Danzig tape (our selection of tapes is somewhat limited, since most of us stopped buying tapes circa 1991, but nobody has a car with a CD player. But I digress). He says to me, "Do you mind Danzig in the morning?". I say, "No, not unless I'm hung over. Today is fine."

We ride on, and eventually hit the inevitable Danzig love song. triadruid shakes his head, and says something like, "I have to keep reminding myself that there was a day when Glenn Danzig could have used lines like this and there were any number of girls that would be delighted to go to bed with him." I shrug. "I'd fuck Glenn Danzig," I say, with a certain nonchalance. He gives me The Look. It is a look that can be easily translated as "Dood. That is fucked up.", but the "dood, that is fucked up" is silent. I do the only thing a person can do in that sort of a situation, which is widen my eyes slightly and say "What?" in the tones of injured innocence.

But this alone would not serve, so I have to do the other thing a person can do in that situation, which is post about it on LiveJournal, and seek allies. Hence, today's Stupid Poll.

There are three different circumstances in which I would let Glenn "The Littlest Headbanger" Danzig go all the way (even though he just reeks of this one-way oral sex vibe, am I wrong?).

#3- Prison. I would probably pay five cigarettes for a shot at the Darkmeister of Homocidal Mood Swings. Six if he sang 'Mother' while we knocked boots.

#2-If I got really, really drunk and mistook him for a midget transvestite. In fact I once went home with a midget transvestite because I honestly thought it was Devil's Crooner himself! Big mistake, well Little mistake he/she only came up to my chest.

Time has not aged him well, or there are some crazy Photoshops on Google Images... so my condition is back in the 90's, for starters. I'm not sure what to do about the 'tude'. Gagging him cuts off the voice, which is one of the only real things he has going for him...maybe he has to actually sing the whole time, no spoken words? Hmm.
