Actual payday is Friday, but the office is closed on Friday, so they sent the checks to be delivered today (when the office was also closed, so I had to go down and open up the office strictly to wait for the UPS package to come from the payroll company). Except that they weren't. So, the best case is that I will have to go sit in the office again on Friday for several hours and get my check, and the worst case is that I will have to go sit in the office again on Friday for several hours and not get my check. If they don't come in on Friday, then they'll be sent back to the payroll company, and I actually won't get paid until like Tuesday next week. Bastardy.
Sorry to hear that. Nothing is worse than expecting your money at a certain point and not getting it. Hope they come on Friday (and you should go into work in your pj's just to prove a point).
That really does bite. My work was actually very cool about it in that I not only got my paycheck, but I also got a bonus. I shall send some of my money drawing vibes your way. :-)
sorry hon but i know how you feel. i am going to the movies this week only cuz the kids are paying. they each got 30 bucks for yule and then they have their allowances which gives kieran 40.00, bryce 44.00, and mercedes 46.00. they are freaking rich. then bryce has a 25.00 gift card to toys r us too. maybe you should hit one of them up for a loan? :) just kidding. ;)
