I'm not sure what to think about this...

Last night, around midnight, just about 5 minutes after [livejournal.com profile] triadruid went up to go to bed, a smell of really good whiskey manifested itself in my room. Not in a strength suggestive of a glass of whiskey being poured, but more in a strength suggestive of a glass being poured *on me*. It lingered for about 3 minutes, then was gone. The whole thing was very odd.

The night-visiting god who loves his whiskey and women. Hail to the gatekeeper!

I'm fond of him, you know.

He probably just wanted to be sure you'd been tucked in properly. Manannan is very diligent about that sort of thing.

Group olfactory hallucinations

I've been having them all day, actually; last night as I was going to bed I thought sure I smelled something (I told you this morning and have promptly forgotten). Probably because driving in to work, the car kept giving me even weirder scents that I couldn't quite place (your scent was a recurring theme, but [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants swore there was nothing..

Well, that's fun. And you were saying you smelled flowers last night as well. What makes this even more fun is that neither one of us ought to be able to smell anything at all, as sinus-ridden as we are.

It's like an amputee, feeling the lost limb.
