5:17 p.m. A traveling man in hat and backpack got into a dispute with a dog in an alley off 11th Street.
Jerking on the pet’s choke chain, he implored the baffled pooch to “follow your dreams!” The witness said the dog was “cowtowing” and submissive at the man’s effrontery. Police found the man at 11th and F, but couldn’t verify any abuse other than the vituperative spiritual counseling.
