*sigh*

Yeah. This is the part of the day where I try to pretend that I'm not just sitting here posting to various places and reading Boy Meets Boy...

Sorry.

Sorry we lingered too long over our donuts (they weren't really doughnuts) and Girl Scout cookies for you to get to the gaming store. Last week, I had a day or two of pretending I wasn't reading The DaVinci Code. Hope your day gets better.

No big. Will crawl out to the store some other time. I did much enjoy having lunch with you in the twilight zone. We should do that again sometime :)

Do you mean simply lunch, or lunch at the same place? Ya gotta admit the pink seersucker curtains along with The Carpenters...hard to top that.

Lunch in general. Extra points for the general weirdness of the restaurant though.

Weird little chinese joint at 87th and Bluejacket (?). Golden Pagoda or something similar. Cheap buffet food, but not too bad. (Not nearly enough chilies in their spicy stuff, but otherwise unobjectionable)

Heavens, no. It's the one between Wendy's and Tippin's back where Benchmark used to be. (Does that mean I'm going native? Giving directions based on where things used to be?)

It's a start, but I wouldn't worry. You won't have truly gone native Kansan until you start giving directions which include the types of livestock, crops, or derelict farm machinery you'll pass.
