Dammit.

Drove up to the gaming shop today at lunch, only to find that it is no longer there. I'll have to find another one now. I desperately need a few books, and while, yes, I can buy them from Amazon, I greatly prefer to support local geekeries with my business (however sporadic that is).

Bitch, bitch, bitch.

Which one?

The one at about 87th Street Trafficway and (Antioch???), behind the McDonald's? Darn, if that's the case.

There's also one up on Johnson Drive, but as far as I know they're only open business hours, M-F 9-4 or something, so I've never been inside to see their selection.

No, this one was at 95th near Antioch. AFAIK the one on 87th is still around. I'll try to go up there tomorrow and see.

Now that I think about it, the last time I'd been to the now non-existent shop was like last year sometime, so they've probably been closed forever. Sadness.

That, and Amazon patented one-click purchasing, so they are scum. It's like patenting checkbook registers.

May the wrath of a thousand auditors infect the books of thy headquarters, WalMart, McDonalds, and Amazon all. Let thy winds or repercussion be felt, and let three squared have at thee!

Hmmm

The one you are talking about I think is the one that has relocated to Independence Mo. I think it use to be called Pirate Games.
