(no subject)

I have the plague. Expectations for today continue to be revised downwards.

That means it's time for more Doctor Who, yes?

That would be worth a little bit of Plague...

we are all four in various plague stages. I feel like putting a sign on the roof, semi-alive inside:(

I just had to retrieve the older Teen, she reported plague-like symptoms.

This doesn't bode well for the rest of us.

Hope you feel better soon.

Just remember--if it turns from Plague to Zombie, I'll do the right thing. :P

Well, crap.

Does that mean that EiR is going to be postponed for tonight? I would be okay with this.

Nope. If need be, I'll be the primary teacher tonight, but we're continuing on as usual.

EiR is never postponed. Never. I remember hearing that one time back in the winter of '02 there was a freak snowstorm that shut down the entire city. [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale managed to lay hands on a sleigh and a couple of horses and dragged everyone down to SMUUCh for class.

[identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, most classes are built with an extra week in the schedule in case it snows, or the building is closed for fumigation, or everyone has the zombie plague, or whatever. This class just doesn't have that week's grace, because they elected to push back the start of class. So yeah, if I'm not dead, we're having EiR. And if I am dead, we're still having EiR, but [livejournal.com profile] triadruid or somebody else is leading the class.

You laugh, but the March 2002 EIR class was the one in which both [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants and [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale had winter-weather wrecks, and we got snowed in Saturday night (sort of).

Pshaw.

Do you know the severity of antipathy that [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale holds for snow? I seriously doubt such a thing as [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale driving an open-air sleigh (or even being in one, for that matter) in the winter would happen. ;)

But as zie explained to me earlier, EiR definitely must go on. :)
