While the day lacked crappy chocolate donuts, it did include a chocolate cake from Olive Garden, courtesy of my Mother. The pirates and joy were more easily found, as we journeyed to a local-ish spring that was well equipped with swings, zip lines, and a host of other devices that would cause most folk to think at least twice before using. Myself, I must have thought about them a dozen times, but found myself plummeting into the water from truly unnerving heights all the same.

(By the way, I realized after I got off the phone with you last night that what I said might have been taken as insult, but I certainly didn't mean it that way. So I apologize for that. My mouth is getting me in a lot of trouble lately.)
