Thee Winter Avarice Gift Exchange, Mark 2

It was fun enough last year -- wanna do it again?

Here's how it works: You read the rules here. You send an email to me (jwncrow@hotmail.com), answering the questions at the bottom of the post. I send your information to somebody else. They buy you a gift. I give you some third person's information, you buy them a gift. I keep track of who's giving gifts to whom. All gifts are delivered on or before New Year's Eve. People who don't manage this get blacklisted from future gift exchanges and mocked savagely. Everybody gets stuff and is happy.

So, who's in? Send me a note, telling me these things:

- What name should your packages come to?
- What address should you packages come to?
- What winter holidays do you celebrate (in case someone should want to be, you know, timely)?
- Got any wishlists we could look at? How might we find them?
- What are your favorite colors?
- What sorts of things do you like to recieve? (Hobbies, interests, collections, etc.)
- Favorite foods?
- Any food, scent or other allergies we should be aware of?
- Clothing sizes (for the sorts of clothing you would like to receive -- if you're not ok with getting clothes, or don't want to share that information, you can skip this part.)?
- What else should people know about you in order to shop for you successfully?

I'll go again -- but this time can my name go to someone who'll send me sumpin'? (whine...)

Also, do we ever find out if our recipient liked what they got, or is that left floating?

You didn't get anything last year? Crap! I thought I only had to blacklist one person this year -- I will see if I can find out who had your name, and beat them with a foam noodle.

Yay! FoamNoodleyWhappage!

::raises hand in shame::

I found your gift when I was packing to come overseas, but didn't have time to send it before I had to be out of the apartment. It's in [livejournal.com profile] opaljax and [livejournal.com profile] orcjohn's garage at the moment.

If it makes you feel any better, my best friend's Yom Kippur Rosh Hashanah Chanukah Passover Purim Yom Kippur Rosh Hashanah present is in there too, and it looks like it'll still be there come Chanukah this year. I am Teh Suck at remembering to mail things. Hence why I was planning on not playing this year.

Ah well, at least there's a good reason! I was thinking someone was just not playing fair, but THAT's ok!

I'll e-mail...

...so you can count me in. But can you beat me with a foam noodle anyway? Please??

I'm in again. I'll try to be a little more creative this year than I was last year with the ThinkGeek gift certificate for Mr Pendragon.

Email incoming shortly.

I think this might be a fabulous way to meet a new friend. Your social circle is not mine, but merriment shared is merriment multiplied!
