Hey everybody--

This should be the sort of wind-up week for the gift exchange, so please give your gift before Sunday if you haven't done so already.

For administrative porpoises (and because I am the Queen of the Nosy People), please comment and tell me what you got! (Sooper Sekrit Other Reason: If you haven't gotten anything yet, I can poke your Santa if necessessessseseessesary. I can never spell that word right.)

From the lovely fionnabhar, I received a splendid tea basket. The wondrous aromas and flavors have finally ruined me. Poured a cup of Lipton down the drain yesterday...and I don't think I'll ever be able to brew another one again. ::sigh::

I'm in touch with the person for whom I'm Sekrit Santa. Exchange should be achieved soon.

From the indomnitable chaosdruid, I got Jacki pink and purple, suedeish yarn and a pink and purple multi-colored ball of yarn. Yay!! Now I have to force myself to sit down and enjoy crocheting me a scarf. Very happy. This worked well. :D

For A Bit There, I Thought I'd Met Someone Somewhere Along the Line Who Thought highly Enough Of Me To Get Me A Gift, But Whose Name I Couldn't Remember. That Part Was Believable, But The Idea I Also wouldn't Recognize The Email Address Was Sending Me Into The Corner, Rocking Back And Forth.

I haven't found what seemed like the right thing yet. I'll stop trying to find just the "right" thing and choose one of the things I've seen so far and send it tomorrow.

They were closed both Saturday and Monday and so I'll go to pick it up today and comment when I get it. I'm a bit annoyed that they were closed but there isn't much I can do about it and it is understandable for them to -be- closed…

BTW, I'd meant to say that I got it but I hadn't done so yet. I was playing with the Smart Mass today and discovered that it was thermographic. Cool! Thanks! Oh, and cindygerb is having much fun with the posable thingy. :)

glad you reminded me, i need to get the package sent in the mail today.
i got a necklace which was a faerie sitting on top of a rose quartz heart which came from enchanted gifts and i had admired many a time but never picked up for myself which is funny since i work there. :)
