What is "magician-consciousness," and what's happening in four days to return you to it?

All those elderly junkies look alike.

Anyway, in my mind, right at the moment, magician-consciousness might be described as a base camp at the center of the universe. It's a point from which possibilities are expanded, will to self-direct is the defining quality of movement, and many routes of exploration are open.

I've been away for a year, serving as a priest, which involves a different mechanism of being, one that requires submission to divine wills, trading of favors and support in order to move. It's useful and sometimes fulfilling, but also frustrating.

Sunday, I'm putting down that role and returning to center, to contemplate my next moves.
