Today's moment of:

Squee:
They've cast Kelsey Grammar as Hank McCoy/Beast for the next X-Men film. I mean, I don't want to sound like a furry or nothing, but seriously, joy.

Dammit:
Apparently Tom Petty and the Black Crowes are playing the KYYS birthday show. On July 10. Dammit. Because what will I be doing then? Recovering from Eris. Oh well.

Wow:
[livejournal.com profile] kittenpants and I cleaned out the Command Center yesterday, with a vengeance. The filing cabinet of DOOM now fits in the closet where nobody has to look at it unless they are planning on actually using it. There might be room to set up our neato bandito color printer, even.

Furry is good, but still take Night Crawler any day of the week. I think it's the woad.

Apropos of very little, Alan Cumming has the coolest celebrity website EVAR. He's marketing a new fragance and a line of body care products called silly things like Cumming On Your Face, Cumming in Your Hair, and the like.

I should leave town more often... ;)

See you Sunday. :-*

If you wish there to be less crap in the house, I have a counter-proposal, but I will wait until you are home to present it. :-p
You don't even want to know about some of the stuff we found in the office closet. But we left some of it on your keyboard for your amusement.

Kelsey Grammar? As a super-hero? That's... odd.

Anyway, they had Steve Bacic as Hank McCoy in X2, albeit only on a tv spot. Seems odd to switch actors. Not that it hasn't been done before.

Apparently it's a theme in this film -- they will also have a Kitty Pryde who was not the Kitty Pryde previously featured.

Maybe every mutant is secretly a shape-changer.

That's pretty cool

I want to be a mutant when I grow up.

You mean you aren't already? I've been misinformed! I want my money back.

Particularly, KG as *that* super-hero?? I'll have to see it to believe it... also, I thought they had a split-second shot of Hank McCoy in X2, although he wasn't Beastified.

That's okay though, Batman isn't even a mutant (in the current timeline, anyway) and he's changed faces how many times???

That's what I meant when I said "they had Steve Bacic as Hank McCoy in X2, albeit only on a tv spot."

I'll admit that Kelsey Grammar would perfectly capture the geeky-scientist side of Hank McCoy, but like you, I have trouble imagining him as an acrobatic blue furry.
